Podcasts for Inspiration

I LOVE listening to podcasts. They feel so personal, like the speaker is talking to just me. A few years ago, I started listening to podcasts during my runs. I found that I really enjoyed podcasts that taught me something new, challenged my thinking and habits, and stretched me to think big. Here are some of my favorites that I listen to regularly and perhaps they will inspire you to learn, do, or start something new in your life!

Twice a week Suze Orman teaches women about money and investing. She holds “Suze School” on Sundays where she teaches about investments like Roth IRAs or I-Bonds and on Thursdays she answers viewer questions. She has taught me a lot about keeping it simple.

Kami Guildner shares her wisdom about raising up your voice, visibility, and your business. I am new to listening to Kami, but so far I find her podcast very applicable to my life as I build my business.

Katie is fun to listen to as she talks spending habits, smart investing, and tax strategies –This is a wonderful podcast for anyone under the age of 40. Listen weekly on Wednesdays to learn how to turn your Rich Girl mindset into money.

Hidden Brain is one of the most heavily downloaded podcasts worldwide today. It’s hosted by Shankar Vedantam, a social science correspondent for NPR. The topics discussed on Hidden Brain are intriguing and unique. They combine great narrative storytelling with easy-to-understand science.

CryptoCasey does a great job of breaking down what is happening in the crypto markets. She also has a youtube channel that teaches you about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and new technology. She makes crypto understandable.

I started listening to Tim a few years ago and his podcasts completly stretched my brain. He interviews people who are the best in their field and finds out their habits, routines and what makes them tick.

This podcast suggestion comes from Dr. Liz Carter, ND, who has her own practice, New Leaf Natural Medicine. I am reminded that we need to take care of our emotional health along with our financial health. I will be downloading this podcast for sure.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready to travel again! Before I went to France in 2019, I listened to this podcast and it was so helpful. It is full of tips on French culture, tours, French history, and how to be a savvy traveler in France. Annie is a wonderful host and her guests are very interesting .

I listen to Timothy Keller on my Sunday runs. I appreciate how he approaches Christianity both rationally and intellectually.
